Le Salon de Emmanuel Chanel, my phpBB board looked to have no problem but I found that people cannot register the new user accounts. So I renewed the board. It’s based on another newly phpBB board for another project. The database of the old phpBB board. But I resigned to keep the old data on the web since the database looks out of order. So the current board doesn’t keep the posts and user accounts on the old board.
This is my personal board. So I administrate it for my interests. Note that I will NOT conduct it from a neutral standpoint.
I tried making a new Japanese blog: Kitsune Shimbun(きつね新聞). Its theme is to post the jokes thoroughly deceiving people.
From the start, I don’t keep its parent blogs both in English and in Japanese well. So I don’t know how long and how well I will keep this blog.
Kitsune is a Japanese word for “fox”, an animal. In Japanese folktales, foxes enchant people by turning their features into mankinds and various things.
The 1st article on the blog is a copy of my April Fool Joke in 2000. (I save that text on another web page. And you can read also its English version.) When I saw that Natalie Portman says that she wonders if her face is ugly in an article of a movie magazine, I associated her comment with Maya Kitajima(北島マヤ), the heroine of Mask of Glass(ガラスの仮面). So the idea of that article flashed through my mind.
And the 2nd article is the 1st original arctivle for the blog with lying about Detective Conan: Private Eye in the Distant Sea. I haven’t made its English article.
After I got @Emmanuel_Chanel, an account of Twitter, I’ve got a bit interested in social bookmark buttons. So I put the buttons with WP-Social-Bookmarking-Light, a plugin for social bookmarks, found by Google. That plugin has also the buttons of mixi and of grow! but I haven’t since I don’t have their API keys.
I don’t know how many new visitors it would make by that since my text of the blogs aren’t very good.
I decided that after thinking for a long time. And I’ve done.
It’s not changed that the website is on my home server. But I feel it better that I could put it out of the virtual host having this WordPress blog site. I will keep my links page inside, though.
Last night(30 Jan., 2012), I found Kamyu, the administrator of DDNS.Kamyu.Net, my Dynamic DNS service had noticed that he is going to quite the service. So I’m going to be disabled to use emmanuelc.dix.asia . So I moved my subdomain name from emmanulc.yuuna.org to emmanuelc.dix.asia.
I newly registered an account on MyDNS.JP. Someone introduces that service when I asked if there is a Dynamic DNS service where I can use DNS wildcard for free. It looks the free service of MyDNS.JP is very functional. I hope that the service wouldn’t end.
The new URIs are these:
This blog (English home): http://www.emmanuelc.dix.asia/
My Japanese blog: http://www.emmanuelc.dix.asia/ja/
My Forum http://forums.emmanuelc.dix.asia/
The Archive of Rather Shinkansen than TGV & Taiwan Shinkansen http://www.emmanuelc.dix.asia/~emmanuel/

Thinking of reusing Le Salon de Emmanuel Chanel, my board baffeled by a strong left oppoenent, I changed the description of 運営 / Operation, the forum for my operation of the board:
From: ”Le Salon de Emmanuel Chanel の管理・運営に関する話題 / Topics about operation of this salon.”
To: ”Emmanuel Chanel のウェブサイト管理・運営に関する話題 / Topics about Emmanuel Chanel’s website operation. ”
Naturally, I was criticised even among my conservative friends on the opinions net when I banned him.
There are arguments also among my conservative friends. So I thought of preparing the board without considering the arguments on my friends’ blogs and forums.
Although I haven’t posted an entry about it, I added and updated some items to Des Liens de Emmanuel Chanel and to Kita no Ookami Fan Club Links the Revived. Maybe, better for me to tweet on Twitter than to post the entries on these blogs.
I added two blogs around Prof. Kanji Nishio, a famous conservative essayist and parted with by The Web Society for Thinking Textbooks and so on:
About the latter, on 1 Dec., last week, I received his mail that he settled it newly. I added it to my links pages but I didn’t post an entry like this since I didn’t feel that I can post good one.
The other way, I updated two items on “Passe-temps et Divertissement:Manganimes”(Manga and Anime section). One is the official movie website of Detective Conan. I felt a bit depressed, finding that I forgot to update the year on it for two years. And another is Nodame Cantabile Organization Site Wiki. I seldom notice that I updated the existing items. But it would be better to show. So I wrote about that.
On 11 Dec, when I went to a library, randomly selecting, I borrowed ブログのもと(“Base of Blogs”) by Kazuyoshi Nagasawa known for Modern Syntax. Accidentally, he was the owner of Blog People where I’ve got an account before. So I changed my blog on it from this blog to my Japanese blog, thinking of joining them even if a bit more.
Talking about the book itself, without reading others many enough to compare, I could learn basic things and that the ping service of updates isn’t trackback ping.

I found that I can use multisites function with this WordPress blog. So I did. But URIs of its entries are drastically changed. So I have to notice that on some blogs. They are few, though. My blogs aren’t so important for people yet.
Since I had a website named Underground University on Cool Online of Rakuten, I got their mail for quiting the service. (I decided to let my website on it extinguish.) So I could care soon. But I didn’t know that OTD’s service would end since they didn’t send me such a mail. I got to know OTD’s end by seeing that “Genious Fool Web Board” extinguished.
So I updated my links pages: Des Liens de Emmanuel Chanel and Kita-no-Ookami Fan Club Links the Revived.
